The delayed Stoke upon Tern Neighbourhood Plan will go to Referendum on the 6th May 2021 and the Parish Council is encouraging all Parishioners eligable to VOTE YES details of the leaflet that will be delivered to every household is set out below and the updated Neighbourhood Plan can be found in the documents section of the web site.

On the 6th May 2021 it’s Stoke upon Terns Neighbourhood Plan referendum

WHY YOU SHOULD VOTE YES

The Neighbourhood Plan:

  • Written by local volunteers
    • For local parishioners
    • For the good of our parish over the next 20 years
  • Giving the Parish Council influence on planning applications
  • Containing policies you have supported
  • Giving us control of the types of development
  • Developed over the last five years, keeping you informed through events and the newsletter
  • Draft plan made available to every household – apart from minor changes in response to comments from parishioners and the official Examiner, it is essentially the same document
  • The plan can be viewed on the Parish Council website, www.stokeuponternparish.org.uk, or hard copies can be requested from the Clerk
